IT department provides the functioning of the system and communication networks. It maintains equipment and provides technical support to the filling station in all aspects of Petrol Plus operation.

RFID Tag

RFID tag may be used as an identifier of the vehicle thus providing higher security and less fraud for you and your clients. It helps you to estimate the average amount consumed by the drivers. Moreover, special restrictions on days, hours and amount may be applied to each vehicle.

Payment Terminal

We use reliable and secure payment terminals produced by Ingenico, the world’s leading manufacturer of payment equipment. Depending on your goals and requirements you can choose among a variety of models between types of communication, countertop or portable use, contact or/and contactless reader, etc. All the terminals support off-line mode through various communication channels (GPRS, GSM, PSTN, LAN). Off-line mode meets perfectly well all the requirements of retail sector in regions with unstable communication networks.

Card

Petrol plus card is used as an identification of the driver and bears specific personal information. A fleet card may have a “monetary” or “volume” e-purse which means that driver/owner of the fleet may charge a fleet card with money and use the card for electronic payment, or buy a certain amount of litres at a fixed price to be consumed during a month, a day or a week. It may also have specific restrictions set on the amount and type of fuel to be consumed during a month or a day. Weather it is a fleet or a loyalty card, contact or contactless, we use secure and field proved cards from the world leading manufacturer Gemalto.

Loyalty

Petrol Plus gives you great potential for stimulating your customers buy more. It includes various discount and loyalty schemes designed to attract and retain your clients. For instance, one of the basic programs estimates the discount depending on the amount of fuel consumed in the previous month.

Card

Using a smart card as an identifier for cashless payment helps to reduce cash handling and make all transactions secure and transparent. It may have restrictions on fuel’s type and amount, territory of service, etc. Petrol Plus card is secured by pin-code and has never been tampered since 1995.

RFID Tags

RFID tag may be used as an identifier of the vehicle thus providing higher security and less fraud for you and your clients. This option assures that at the moment of payment transaction vehicle was present at the station. Fleet cards may have strict allocation to particular vehicles, before each transaction pump attendant has to verify the vehicle tag, if it is correct fuel is released. In case someone tries to take out the tag from a vehicle and use it for a private car, the tag will be destroyed.
