Negotiations with Oilcom started in 2010 and presently showed that Petrol Plus perfectly fits the needs and requirements of Tanzanian market in general and Oilcom Management in particular.

The company sounded a number of business tasks that were later solved by Petrol Plus installation:

  • Reduce cash handling to cut collection costs and diminish risk of robbery;
  • Attract new corporate clients by offering convenient, variable and reliable card services;
  • Gain the primary leading position in the sphere, as fleet cards are not at all widely used or popular in Tanzania.

Oilcom plans to be the first petrol retailer to launch large-scale marketing and PR campaign and popularize its fleet card system.
